Turn the tables is a phrase meaning to “put the best face forward” or to “switch sides”.  It has been suggested that its origin is from the days when the table was the center of the home, being used for everything, from butchering the meal, to serving it. When guests would arrive, the table would be turned over to reveal a clean, more attractive side.

Our passion, at Turn The Tables Studio, is to “turn” furniture (often destined for furniture heaven) into one of a kind works of art.  Our methods include decorative painting, architectural embellishments, as well as fabric and paper lamination. We work as a team, with the client, to develop a design concept, drawing inspiration from fabric samples, wall colors, photos, etc.  Home consultations are available. Consultations can help the artist visualize how the piece will best fit into your home.  Creating a custom piece for you is our greatest joy!
